Hope for Children Research Foundation Names Bart Oates and Salvatore Frassetto Co-Chairman of the Executive Board of Advisors

Former Super Bowl Champion and Real Estate Leader Help Advance a 40-Year Mission Supporting Children and Families.

Ramsey, N.J., June 25, 2026 — For more than 40 years, Hope for Children Research Foundation has advanced research, advocacy, and programs benefiting children and families facing rare diseases and serious medical challenges. Helping expand that mission of bringing hope and healing to children by bridging the gap between today’s challenges and tomorrow’s cures through compassionate support and groundbreaking research are newly appointed Executive Board of Advisors Co-chairmen Bart Oates and Salvatore Frassetto, two longtime leaders dedicated to community impact and philanthropy.

Oates, a former Super Bowl champion, attorney, and respected philanthropist, alongside Frassetto, Chairman of Saddleback Real Estate Developers, and philanthropist will play active leadership roles in helping the organization expand awareness, strengthen fundraising initiatives, and support families navigating difficult medical journeys.

Founded more than 40 years ago with a focus on advancing children’s neurological and cancer research, the foundation has evolved into a broader support system for families, providing support, advocacy, awareness, and resources to children and parents facing overwhelming circumstances. Helping guide that mission are Michelle Oates, President of the Board of Trustees, and Meg Minassian, Executive Director and Trustee, who oversee the organization’s programs, outreach efforts, and continued growth.

Supporting the foundation’s leadership efforts are Board of Advisors members Dean & Gina Logan, of Complete Roof Systems (CRS), and David Green, President of Results Advertising. Alongside fellow advisors, they help advance awareness, fundraising initiatives, community outreach, and strategic partnerships that further the foundation’s mission.

Today, the organization works closely with medical professionals, researchers, donors, volunteers, and community leaders to advance research, expand awareness, and provide meaningful support to children and families across the country.

“Hope for Children Research Foundation has spent decades helping families facing unimaginable challenges,” said Bart Oates.. “The work being done goes beyond research alone. It’s about providing hope, support, and compassion to families that truly need it.”

Frassetto said the organization’s growing impact continues to inspire involvement from leaders across multiple industries.

“This foundation has built an incredible legacy over the last 40 years,” he said. “Not only are they helping support research and awareness efforts, but they’re also helping children and families directly during some of the hardest moments in their lives. It’s an honor to be part of that mission.”

The foundation continues to bring together athletes, business leaders, philanthropists, and advocates who share a common goal of improving the lives of children facing serious illnesses while supporting the families standing beside them every day.
