Meg Minassian
Executive Director
Meg is a graduate of Seton Hall University’s Stillman School of Business who raised her three sons in Mahwah with her late husband Don, a beloved 35 year Trustee of the Hope for Children Research Foundation. She began her own journey with the Foundation as a volunteer and became Executive Director 35 years ago. In that role, Meg runs and works in every facet of the organization, guiding its mission with hands on dedication and unwavering purpose. Under her leadership, the organization transformed from a private foundation into a public one, expanding its reach and strengthening its ability to support children and families facing neurological and cancer illnesses.
Meg’s commitment to service extends deeply into her community and beyond. For the past ten years, she has served as an inaugural commissioner and active member of Mahwah’s Access for All, appointed by the Mayor and Council to support residents with special needs across all ages. Her volunteer work also includes involvement with It’s a Wonderful Life, the New Jersey Special Olympics, and several other organizations dedicated to inclusion, dignity, and opportunity for individuals with disabilities.
Above all, Meg’s greatest joy is her family—her children Ken & Grace, Danny, and Kevin & Julie—and she treasures her role as Gigi to her grandson Owen. Across every part of her life, Meg is known for her compassion, integrity, and unwavering dedication to lifting children, families, and community members with kindness and purpose—values Meg and Don shared throughout their lives.
