For Kathy and Richard Wakile, family has always come first. Kathy grew up in a close-knit Italian-American home in New Jersey, while Richard, who immigrated from Lebanon with his family as a young boy, was raised in a loving, close family rooted in tradition and togetherness. From an early age, both learned that food, love, and community are the foundation of a meaningful life.

After a decade-long stint on reality TV, Kathy turned her core values into a thriving career — becoming the national best-selling author of Indulge, launching her dessert line Indulge by Kathy Wakile, and sharing her passion on the podcast Eat-Live-Love-Indulge.

Richard, meanwhile, built a successful business career by pursuing the American dream through hard work and a deep understanding of community needs.

Together, they co-own Pizza Love restaurant, a true reflection of their shared love for good food and great company. Kathy also proudly supports the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation and has mentored future chefs through her partnership with Remington College.

Today, Richard and Kathy live in Franklin Lakes, NJ, cherishing time with their children — daughter Victoria and her husband Teddy, and son Joseph. Through every season of life, they remain grounded in gratitude, living with heart, laughter, and purpose.
